Description of the analysis
An analysis is performed according to Decree 257/2009 Coll . In the best possible case, the sediment will meet the limits for both sediment and agricultural land, in which case only this analysis is sufficient and an analysis of agricultural land does not have to be performed.

Analysis of agricultural land
For the sediment to be placed on agricultural land it is also necessary to carry out an analysis of the agricultural land on which the sediment would be located. Decree 257/2009 Coll. sets limits for sediments and for the soil on which it will be placed. If the results of sediment analysis meet the requirements for the soil (which is very rare), it is not necessary to perform a soil assessment, but in most cases these samplings need to be performed.

If the sediment does not comply with the decree
In the event that the results of assessments do not meet the requirements of Decree 257/2009 Coll. nor the requirements of Decree 294/2005 Coll., sediment becomes waste and it becomes necessary to perform further analysis according to Decree 294/2005 Coll. about waste management in order to determine what type of landfill the sediment should be deposited at. For these purposes, it is necessary to perform sampling in the water extract according to Table 2.1 with addition of TOC assessment in dry matter.

The decree prescribes accredited sampling of sediment and soil.
- Accredited sediment sampling by our employees, including sampling protocol (1800, -)
- Accredited sampling of agricultural land by our employees, including sampling protocol (550, -)
- Transport of the sample to the laboratory (up to 25 km from Prague and České Budějovice free of charge, otherwise 12 Kč/ km)
